![]() ![]() This is why if you don’t want your progress to get halted, you’ll have to manage your stamina wisely. This is especially true if you’re gathering resources. Almost everything you do in the game uses stamina. Plus there is a trait for refined pickhammer/axe that allows you to restore 6 stamina at a certain percent change, and it proc's more often than you think, and you can get that same trait twice, though its hard to do that, but when it happens, you can gather resources for days.ĮDIT: Also don't get me wrong, Stamina management in sandrock is worse than Portia, I used to make so many dried apples to keep me going all day, but this is the best we got in Sandrock and its not too bad in my opinion.Stamina management is important in My Time at Sandrock. Plus if you want the Sand Carps, you can have pets go gather water and they'll return with worms and Scorpions which are fishing bait too, gathering is the one with the sandberries. You just mostly need to buy the salt and Soy sauce, but you can easily get money to buy that just from fishing too from the larger variant's, or even the king ones. I just buy a lot of sandberries from Arvio and go fish for Sandacuda's and make dried Sandacuda's, they restore about 39-40 stamina each, and with the pets, you can get even more sandberries, and sometimes catch 3 fish at a time for just one bait, so it builds up over time. On the bright side, I do like how available furniture is for improving your combat stats compared to Portia. You can make your tools stronger, requiring fewer swings and therefore fewer points used, but that's not quite the same thing (and you do that in Portia too.) In Portia, there was plenty of furniture that could raise the stamina cap (and perks that lowered how much stamina you burned through while mining and logging.) In Sandrock? Not so much. Meanwhile I easily have way over the health cap just trying to make my house look decent. I can't remember what furniture item I have that gives ability power, but let's just say 15 of the same set of shelves for instance, which looks ugly. We can assume the cap is what they find reasonable for you to have based on your level of progression, but there's just not any furniture to put down to meet that quota unless you want like. Originally posted by Edgar Allan Hoe:Yes, you're absolutely right, but I can't even find enough furniture to fill out the cap that my house offers. I feel like there hasn't been much thought put into stamina and it's annoying because otherwise this is an amazing game. I'm sick of spending time collecting ingredients to cook loads of food that barely gives me anything. I'm not asking for something that does like 50%, but I don't think something more than 8% is unreasonable. There needs to be much more choice.įinally, my last complaint on this is the low amount of recipes you can cook to boost stamina, and even then, it's only a small percentage. I've got multiples of the stamina boosting furniture and it's ugly as hell. I've ended up making a room in my house that is basically a dumping ground for stamina boosting furniture. It feels like there is soooo much choice when it comes to attack, defence and HP but there is barely anything for stamina. The furniture is also a huge issue for me. If you're going to give me less stamina, then at least give me an option to fill it all the way up, even if it costs more. I also find it frustrating that you can't fully replenish your stamina at the Blue Moon, you can get around 200ish tops. A boost to 800 would still limit what you can do but I'd have to take less trips to the Blue Moon to fill up. I do understand the need for balance but it's a bit too low at present in my opinion. My health is like 8,000 but my stamina is still just below 500. I am finding this to be a massive annoyance. ![]()
